Assalamualaikum and hi everyone,
Last full day here before going back home. Started my day with a short walk around the neighbourhood. Saw this occasion where many lady age grandma preparing to do kimchim. My friend said this occasion is called Kimjang which they making kimchi during early winter for the stock of 3 months. That was interesting 🙂
We then had a brunch at the Chef’s Kitchen Restaurant. My friend ordered me black ink pasta. Look scary but its actually delicious. It was advised to brush your teeth after eating this because it make you teeth black hehe
I’d decided this morning to go to Nami Island since I don’t really have anything to do. So I took a train to Yunsang Station.
From there I need to take TRX speed train to Nami Island. Thats the fastest way to go there but lil bit expensive. The train tickets were 8800won return and it took 45 mins from Yunsang Station to Gapyeong Station. From the station I took a taxi for around 5 minutes to the ferry which cost 3000-3300won depending on the traffic. The ferry cost 8000won for adults. You can get cheaper price with group package.
Another way (and cheaper) to go there is by regular subway where you need to exchange 3 times (at least from Juan Station) and you can take a bus from Nami Station. The journey will take around 3 hours and I think it will only cost you around 5000won return. I’m not full understand yet how the bus and subway fee works but what I know they will just charge you once or at most twice for the whole trip.
What the ITX train looks like… this was the upper deck.
On the way back I decided to walk around Bupyeong Station Underground Shopping Centre to spend last bit of money that I have. What I love the most is their jumper that only 10000won and have very cute and interesting design. I already bought 2 last time when I went to Myeondong Market. This time I just bought backpacking bag (which is on trend at the moment. I saw almost every students wear the same design bag) for my brother.
I also bought few cosseting from the Olive Young Store (similar like Watson in Malaysia). So jealous that they have Leneige and Bioderma in the store! Since I have not much money left, I just bought small few items.
