Trip to South Korea: Day 4

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone,

Another day in Korea. So on 4th day, my friend and I decide to do major souvenir shopping and food hunting all day 😛 We start our day after Zohor prayer again (because it will be easy for us to wander around till night) and head straight to Namdaemun Market. I’ve been here before so I know what to buy. Its just my friend has her go-to place to buy some of the souvenirs. Before that we stop by at this small cute cafe that specialise in donuts. They have various kind of flavour. Taste delish!

It’s taste good and cheap. In this super cold weather, anything hot was good.IMG_8098 IMG_8102 IMG_8105 IMG_8108 IMG_8109

Souvenir done! Now I can focus on visiting places and eat tones of food 😀 From Namdaemun we walk to Myeondong market… It just around 15 mins distance. At Myeondong I went lil crazy buying K-Pop cc’s. My friend back in Malaysia ask me to buy few from here. I had fun shopping haha This building was on the second floor of Nature Republic building. You can see the ‘Nature Republic’ building sign as soon as you walk out from the subway station exit.

This one restaurant was famous among Malaysian (it was full with Malaysian when we arrived :P). It was quite a distance from the main road. From the picture you can see that they actually close the main road to encourage young people aka student to walk around. There is actually a university nearby (at the end of the main road) Its full with stores and cafes. For restaurants, you need to walk through the smaller road.

After dinner we just walked around to see what they had in town. Then we found Cat Cafe! My friend said this was new and she never been here. She had been the one in Hongdae. If you happen to visit Hongdae, do not forget to go to Cat Cafe, Sheep Cafe and Hello Kitty Cafe. The Cat cafe was located at 3rd floor (building on your left) like 5 mins walk from the station exit. Its lil bit hard to find since its on 3rd floor but you can find this guy if you see him walk around 😀

After the cafe we went for another food hunting. Bought this fried squid that looks lil bit weird. Next we bought ‘A-bong’ its like rich shape pancake with red bean inside it and she also put some yogurt ice cream + chocolate on top of it. Super delish!!IMG_8220 IMG_8227IMG_8234

On the way back to the station we came across this pop up kakaotalk shop at Sinchon Hyundai Department Store. This shop was near UNIQLO. Its full with all kakaotalk stuff. Anything you can think of like mug, file, tumblr, towel and so much more. Too many people so we skip it and just snap some pictures outside.

Now its time to go home! Its so cold and I can’t feel my feet already. Too much walking 😛 As you can see the sign was in green means its Line 2. Check the Subway apps, see the map and you will know which line go where. Its really easy to understand 🙂

Thanks for stopping by 😀
