Melbourne Trip Day 3

Assalamualaikum and hi peeps,

Last day of my trip in Melbourne. We took the earliest train to the city as Geelong was an hour away from Melbourne. Once we there, we put out luggage in the locker at the train station as we were going back to Sydney via train. From there we took a tram and walk to the Melbourne Convention Centre where the talk will be held.

IMG_3171IMG_3174IMG_3176IMG_3177We arrive at the venue right before the event was started around 8.45am. We registered and went into the hall waiting for out big guy’ to come’. The talk finally started around 9.15am. The speech was given by our beloved Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar is a Malaysian politician, and the son-in-law of former Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. He gave such inspirational speech about how the youngster should be a leader of the future by opening their options to listen to others opinions without jump into conclusion. We only stayed for his speech as other 2 candidates after him were talking about economics.

IMG_3203 IMG_3204 IMG_3205 IMG_3206 IMG_3207Then after that we walked around the city. We originally planned to go to the Brighton beach but unfortunately the weather was wet and windy. So we decided just to go around the city and to Queen Victoria Market. There was nothing really we can do as we do not have much time. So, we went to grab some coffee at the ‘1 Pound Bent’ Coffeehouse. The place was hipster looks like and feels so cozy. Love the interior design. Opening a coffee house is one of my goals in future.

The food was super delicious. To have this during cold and rainy days was perfect. The place just a small place run by Indonesian people. I can’t remember what I ordered but I definitely craving for it now as Sydney started to rain and feel cold.

IMG_3233IMG_3249IMG_3253After the dinner we had some time to kill so we just walk to the Melbourne Graffiti Lane. Its was a place that full of graffiti art. From the we walk around the city for lil while and head back to the train station. Our train was on 7.20pm.

The train took 13hours journey. We arrive in Sydney around 830am. Had breakfast in Subway before heading home. And, finally we reach home safe and sound. The trip was awesome and I cannot thanked enough to those people who make it happen. I hope we will keep in touch although we had no reason really to talk about. But hey why not.

Thanks guys for joining me on this trip. I look forward for another journey and blogged it as we going through with our life. I wish the best for the future for all of us. Hope to see you again either in Australia or back in Malaysia. Finish with this trip so tomorrow, we will blogging back about beauty and fashion.
